It is loaded with high quality clear Swarovski crystals which extend to the end of the bands. Scroll down to last photo. Mixed in with the crystals are small metal leaves accented with rhinestones. This tiara measures 1 1/8" tall at the center and tapers down to 1/2" at the sides. It is flexible (not rigid) and very comfortable to wear. There are rings at the end of the bands for use with bobby pins to secure the tiara to your hair.
